As part of the ECOWings project, we are modelling opportunities for
offshore renewable energy to meet their statutory obligations for marine
net gain.
Under the Missing Salmon Alliance’s Likely Suspects Framework, we are
modelling marine migration pathways and survival, and developing whole
life cycle models and management support tools for the conservation of
wild Atlantic salmon.
Under Mission Atlantic our group is conducting simulations for
Ecosystem-Based Fisheries Managemet throughout the Atlantic.
Working as part of OceanICU, our group is modelling the impacts of
climate change and management decisions on blue carbon.
We are modelling the potential scale of mesopelagic fish stocks as part
of the MEESO project.
For Seawise we are modelling the economic and ecological outcomes of
Ecosystem-Based Fisheries Management in Europe.
Past
During the Changing Arctic Ocean programme our group produced a polar
end-to-end ecosystem model and investigated the influence of light on
phytoplankton blooms.
